A USATF certified and sanctioned race, (Certification # SC19041DW) the Charleston River Port 10K is open to all runners to compete, fitness enthusiasts and anyone wanting to just have fun. In the spirit of fun competition and to promote good health and physical development, the River Port 10K race is open to athletes of all abilities.
A coastal racecourse that is easily underestimate because of its charm, the flowing Charleston River Port 10K course will lull you into a false sense of serenity.
With terrain features that draw the admiration of the most experienced competitor, this river front route includes all the geographical challenges of a course on the coast.
Combining open river views with Spanish moss laden shady oaks that wave gently in the coastal breeze, runners will enjoy the historical beauty and charm of the Charleston river port community as they enjoy the fun and competition that symbolizes the spirit of the South Carolina Military Appreciation Festival.

The Charleston River Port 10 Race Route
Starting Line: Approximately 100 feet beyond parking lot exit on Turnbull/Everglades Avenue, with the line set at the south point of the intersection of Everglades Avenue and Navy Way.
- Mile 1 - Aide station ONLY: On right side of course, 50 yards from the corner.
- Mile 2 - Hydration/Aide station: North on Spruill Ave., on the right side, at the intersection of Spruill and Bexley St.
North Charleston
From Navy port and River Front Park:
Park Circle (From Spruill Ave. proceeding to half way point)
Mile #3: Water/Aid Station at corner of Park Pl. S. and Durant Ave, on the park side
North Charleston
Mile #4: Water/Aid Station on E. Montague Ave., 50 yards before corner of Virginia Ave.
Port Industrial Complex
Mile #5: Water/Aid Station is on Noisette Blvd. 100 yards across bridge toward park
Riverfront Park
Mile #6: The Final Water/Aid Station is at the fork of Navy Way and Everglades Ave.
FINISH LINE

Finish Line: In Riverfront Park on the park exit road, It may vary due to participants in wheel chair and hand propelled cycle for disabled participants and Athletes for All race athletes, but race finish line marker will be same as stating line.
